Well, the answer to this question is yes it does earn interest. Like any loan, the money given by lenders to borrowers does earn interest but the difference among the many other differences with peer to peer lending is that the loans acquired through peer to peer lending companies usually has very low interest rates. The interest rates continue to accumulate as time goes by. So this means that the longer you stay with the lenders money, the more you are going to pay the lender. Borrowers should also remember that defaulting is treated as a serious offence and that if you as a borrower happens to default paying the agreed amount after the stated term, legal action will be taken against you.
