I have worked in health care many years. The one thing that bothers me is having to wear the scrub uniforms. My employer only let’s us wear certain colors and it can hurt a person’s fashion sense a little when having to be restricted to certain work attire. However, I think I have found a way to express myself at work and it is within the guidelines. They said that I could have on a custom lanyard.

They give everyone the same lanyard but we are free to design new ones on our own time. I felt this was an opportunity to wear something catering to me personality. So I asked the others ladies who had a custom lanyard where they design theirs. They told me about this site and how to go through the steps to personalize the lanyard. Sussex County council has had a pigeon problem for a long time. Many residents don’t see any harm in the birds however the fact is that they cause a lot of problems.

The cleaning bill after pigeons have set up home in an area rises dramatically. Council workers must be sent to clean up after them otherwise there is a risk of disease.

In order to solve this problem Sussex County has installed a set of pigeon lofts in a local park. These act as a comfortable area for the birds to nest. When the birds nest in the loft council workers remove the eggs and replace them with fake eggs. This prevents the animals from breeding.

Signs have been put up encouraging residents to only feed the pigeons in the park. This means they stay in the one location where the can be controlled. This is an innovative way of controlling the pigeon population without using a bird scarer.
